What aspect of the building process appeals to you most?

Having satisfied customers who are pleased with their homes, establishing long-term relationships with them and receiving referrals from our past customers.

What was your favorite project and why?

A truly custom home because they are unique and innovative. I also enjoy being creative with a project that is challenging.

What is your best advice for prospective clients?

Get to know your builder and the building process including the delivery schedule and performance. Make sure your builder has financial stability.

What are the latest must-haves?

Second master suites, A/C garages with tiled floors, two dishwashers and two clothes washers and dryers.

What one feature will people most regret not adding?

Open spaces from inside the home that access large outdoor living spaces.

How do the advantages of the Florida lifestyle impact home design?

With our warm climate, there is a lot of emphasis on the outdoor living spaces. Our homes usually include an outdoor kitchen, living area with fireplace and custom designed pool area.

What do you see as the biggest change in custom home building in the last five to 10 years?

The current construction code with its restricting window glass requirements, both in the type and size of window to be used.

What does the future look like to you?

The future looks good in as much as high-end lot inventory is down, which will create an urgency in the market.
